**UPDATE - Added a few more photos from Renaye & Justin's shoot since I finally figured out how to make everything fit!
I met with Renaye & Justin tonight to go over all of their photos. They are the sweetest couple & I truly enjoyed working with them. Even though Justin didn't want to get wet. :) They are getting married really soon in Gatlinburg, TN (jealous!) and honeymooning in South Carolina (even more jeaous). Thanks for working with me, and best of luck you two!!
Just a few pictures to share...
I'll post more when I can figure out why this dagblasted blog won't let me post larger images.

Updates & So On...
July has been the busiest month for me, ever. Ever, ever. For those of you who don't know I work full time with SunTrust Bank in the Private Wealth Department. So photography is not a full time job for me. I love my job, don't get my wrong, it is just a busy high stress position that sometimes exhausts me. lol.
Anyway, I should have three shoots posted this weekend that unfortunately have taken me an abnormally long time to edit. One is a portfolio shoot I did w/ a fabulous lady named Stephanie (Never have I done another session where 99.9% of their pictures are useable!). Another an engagement shoot w/ Renaye & her soon to be hubby Justin. Third - the sweetest first birthday party for baby Nancy. Three totally different shoots that I really enjoyed doing. Not to mention I will be updating the look of the blog & my logo this week. So be checking back!
Okay, after reading my mini novel I know you'll want to see at least one photo. This is a photo blog after all.
ps - I love to take pictures at church. :)

Birthday's, Steaks & Light Up Tiara's
Sam (sisters fiance) bought Lacy (for those of you who don't know, my sister) all kinds of fun things to wear and play with at her party. Just thought I'd post a few for her.
Oh, and one for Brittany too - since she was the life of the party spilling not one, but TWO drinks during dinner. High five bud, high five. ;)

Conglomeration
I am just now blogging about my holiday weekend. I would guess it's because it was so eventful.
My photo taking skills were put to shame when a tree fell on some friends car while we were at Callaway on the 4th of July for fireworks. Yes they were inside, yes they are okay. It's not everday that you see a 60 foot pine tree come crashing down on your friends vehicle suddenly, with no warning. It really shook me up. A few terribly shaky pictures below.

The rest of the weekend was spent in peace.
Check out these little ones. I love doing nursery at church.
That all for now. It's my bedtime.
I should have a few pictures to upload tomorrow from
Renaye & her fiances mini pre-engagement shoot. :)

Third Time is A Charm... :)
Lacy & Sam had their 3rd engagement session yesterday. (Now we're on our way to making a really big album to house all there hotness.) Their 1st was downtown, 2nd at the beach, 3rd at this old antebellum home out by my parents house. 1st was casual, 2nd beachy, third snazzy. lol. They are my pretty models who will do just about anything I ask them to. They always make this a fun job for me! (ps - Lacy looked really pretty yesterday.)
Youngest
For your blogging pleasure here are a few shots I took of my youngest brother, Tanner yesterday. He says I take pictures of everyone else but him. Anyway, I took him along with Lacy & Sam (sister & future brother in law) out to the old antebellum home out by where my parents live. The area is awesome to shoot in! SO much character.

Shuffle Board
So I realized I never posted any pictures from our family beach trip. Which could partly be because I didn't take very many candids. Crazy & not at all like me, I know. Below are a few photo's from when we played "family" shuffle board. Which translates to my Dad enjoying beating everyone by at least 50 points. I was experimenting with different aspects of the camera so they are a little artsy fartsy. (Can I say fartsy & still sound professional?) Eh.
(Ah, look! It's me. High five to my sister for actually making sure I was in a couple of photos.
ps - I have frizzy beach hair!)
PS - A few extras from the backseat of my car while we were
waiting in the super walmart parking lot at the beach.
Meet my brother Corey & his girlfriend Hayley.
The below pictures embody the two of them perfectly. LOL.
