18 Brides
Yep, you read right - a wedding with 18 brides! When Operation Homefront asked myself as well as 5 other photographers to be a part of this event, I just couldn't refuse. I had a blast at station two doing the bridal couples more relaxed portraits. Remembering the names of one bridal couple is hard enough for me, but 10 different couples came through my station - thank goodness they were wearing their military name badges or I'd have been in big trouble!

I know, I know. I'm horrible. I haven't posted since my last post about our Christmas party. I have tons to get on here, just not enough time to make it happen. I hope you'll bear with me! :)
I know some of you have seen the photos from Jay & Mandy's wedding on the fabulous Jessica Flynn's page as this was a collaborative wedding shot by Jessica & myself for Texture Photographic's, Carrie Jo (so if you see some of these photos in other places besides my blog & facebook, that's why)...here is my take on their beautiful day.
We'll start out with the dress, which was the first thing I got my hands on. The details of the day are my favorite thing to photograph!
Jay & Mandy's wedding was held at the Columbus Museum on one of the wildest weather days of the year. While getting ready that morning I kept having to run back & forth from the bathroom to the laundry room because of the sirens. The day ended up being gorgeous with perfect 70 degree weather. Of course the next morning it snowed, but that's an entirely different story.
On to the dress...

The flowers were done by the amazing Kim Nelson. I don't believe I have ever seen better work!

The bride was stunning...

And the wedding party were total troopers!

The ceremony went off without a hitch...

And the happy couple were on their way...

I had a fantastic time shooting this wedding & I truly look forward to shooting many more in the future. If you are interested in receiving information on our wedding packages feel free to email me!

When my sister asked me to come & shoot the churches College & Career groups "Tacky" Christmas party. I had no idea what I was in for! Take a guess at who won the tackiest outfit!?
ps - excuse the border on the first couple of photos! :x

Lacy was in the strong lead with her HUGE red bow.

My handsome husband who couldn't decide whether to go nerdy or tacky.

Tanner just went plain...weird.

Chris = T-A-C-K-Y.

Oh, man.

My new favorite photo of Lacy & Sam.

The only photo I was in from the entire night. I dressed tacky too dangit.

The group.
Hey, look, I am actually in a photo. I look all hardcore too.
