I know, I know. I'm horrible. I haven't posted since my last post about our Christmas party. I have tons to get on here, just not enough time to make it happen. I hope you'll bear with me! :)

I know some of you have seen the photos from Jay & Mandy's wedding on the fabulous Jessica Flynn's page as this was a collaborative wedding shot by Jessica & myself for Texture Photographic's, Carrie Jo (so if you see some of these photos in other places besides my blog & facebook, that's why)...here is my take on their beautiful day.

We'll start out with the dress, which was the first thing I got my hands on. The details of the day are my favorite thing to photograph!
Jay & Mandy's wedding was held at the Columbus Museum on one of the wildest weather days of the year. While getting ready that morning I kept having to run back & forth from the bathroom to the laundry room because of the sirens. The day ended up being gorgeous with perfect 70 degree weather. Of course the next morning it snowed, but that's an entirely different story.

On to the dress...







The flowers were done by the amazing Kim Nelson. I don't believe I have ever seen better work!







The bride was stunning...









And the wedding party were total troopers!

When my sister asked me to come & shoot the churches College & Career groups "Tacky" Christmas party. I had no idea what I was in for! Take a guess at who won the tackiest outfit!?

Hey, look, I am actually in a photo. I look all hardcore too.

Now, I don't have kids - totally adore them, but don't have any of my own yet. After shoot Spencer's second birthday party, I have a new found respect for Mom's. Especially Mom's of two year olds. I spent a couple hours last month chasing 20 two year olds around "My Gym" for Spencer's monkey themed birthday party. Here are a few moments I captured...

I have so many fun shoots to post in the next few days. The holidays were pretty busy for me, but I did manage to squeeze in some time for a wedding in Anniston, Alabama (photos below) an entire days worth of photos at the Zelo Sport Finger Football Tournament at Peachtree Mall (my brother came in 3rd place!) & our College & Career Tacky Christmas Party which was a huge hit. Not to mention January is filling up quickly! So be on the lookout for new photos!

On December 13th I made the almost 3 hour trip from Columbus up to Anniston, Alabama to meet Carrie Jo (Who is fabulous, I might add!) to second shoot my first wedding. The drive was gorgeous, but by the time I arrived at the venue I can't say I wasn't nervous, but CJ is a total rockstar & she made me feel comfortable instantly. We had a total blast shooting everything from the gorgeous wedding details to the entire family of the bride doing the grapevine at the reception. Here are a few of my favorites (still haven't made it through half of the photos taken).
